Project Description:
Ainsworth Building is Macquarie University’s Clinical Education Building which consists of approx. 3,250m² of façade on to a timber structure.
The ground floor comprised of in-situ glazing into aluminium sections, whilst the curtain wall was installed to L1-3 and consisted of operable louvre blades which were connected to the BMS.
The largest panel on the project is 6,900mm (h) x 2,800mm (w).
This building has won the ‘Peoples Choice Award' at the 2020 Australian Timber Design Awards.
